funny tire wear, sludge on diff plug

went to an alignment shop today, and followed the truck. It really is dog tracking bad. Guess I didn't notice driving it. The rear end had a thrust angle of .88*, a pass. side toe of .27* and drivers of 2.00*. Funny enough, the pass side tire is wearing funny. The bearings looked good though, and the tire doesn't wobble... wonder if you can just pop out the old axle shaft and tube and put a new one in... I'd like to try the heating trick but I don't have access to an oxy torch anymore.

Just an update. I finally found a shop that could bend the axle back. Axle: $750. Check alignment $25. Bend axle back $580. Learning not to buy used parts... priceless. I think i learned my lesson. Pulled the plug again and it had a sludge on it again. No shavings though. Around 75mph I get a high frequency vibration, hopefully it is just my 80 psi in the rear tires. Hope I am not traveling the same road again.
