I thought I had. The thing was I already had three fenders loaded in the station wagon. I guess I could have left Bob Jones there ........ that would have made some room, but that would have been wrong .

I'm sure Bob would have gladly given his seat up for a nice hood. Oh, wait that's a 1951. NM

Yeah, if it'd all been 48-50 stuff and going only as far as Milwaukee, he'd have ridden on the bumper to get it all home!

Shoulda had Bob ride on the roof and hold onto a few parts for ya..

I can't say much, I've made a couple runs over to get parts from Bob.. should seen us trying to fit a F-3 clip into the back of my Bronco... or putting framerail sections into the back seat of my ex's car..

No, there were other issues, she was at least pretty tolerant of my hobby...

... but I still can't forget the look on Bobs face when he saw me about to put 4ft long frame sections into the backseat of her car.. hey there was no more room in the trunk..its where the other parts like an original 16" rim for a spare and other parts went... and I did lay down a moving blanket first....

Clearly I didn't try hard enough to make that hood fit. Maybe lack of sleep, sun, and sore feet got the best of me.
