Hi..I am a 57 year old baby here . So just to let some of you guy know I have every kind of American made vehicles made, it seems like in high school I had a 57chev belair punched out 283 to 301..64 chev with a corvette 327..a 64 dodge sport fury 413...a 64 ford mustang shelby GT.GREEN WITH GOLD STRIPES...I then got married and had to settle for a new 510 datsun..when we got our first house started burning wood so I got a 70 ford 3/4 pickup threw away the 351 a in its placed installed a 390 out of a wercked thunderbird ..I put all kinds of goodies on the engine and it hauled wood very well..I then found a 74 ford bronco painted it a metalic black and installed a 428 cobra jet with a out of a wrecked torino..sold it for 18,000 dead presidents...in 87...then i went into jeeps and in 98 got my wife a work car it was a 98 mustang cobra convert ..I fixed up a very nice Jeep wrangler not to long ago paid 13,000 for it lifted it up tricked it out and sold it for 20,000, I now have a 98 XJ and I just regeard it to take on bigger tires..my wife told the neighbors that I will never grow up..but neadless to say I am getting to old to crawl around these things any more so I have a couple of young lads wanting to buy it if I was looking to sell it...so I am looking at a very nice 2004 f 350 single axle 6.0..I am new to this diesel thing so I was told you guys have a way of tracing down the vin # to see what has been done to it.
I hear that there has been some problems with this engine..so I need your help guys....I will be using it mainly to get wood and do some serious hunting.

It sounds like you had some decent vehicles, the Shelby GT rocks and the 74 Bronco/428 Cobra Jet would too!

So far I`d had great luck with my 05 F350 4X4/6.0 Crew though it`s a low miler, just under 60,000 miles on the clock.
