re call cps

re call cps

i put a blue cps on my excursion at 50000 miles,now its got 90000.runs great but am wondering if i should do the re call or leave well alone.any feed back would be appreciated.

I won't get into the Blue vs Black, but if you do a search I think you'll find the Ford Grey CPS used in the recall is trouble.

I agree. They can keep that thing. Its becoming obvious why its $25 to purchase.

I have had the blue one in my truck for over a year. no complaints, i did put my spare black one in it and truck felt a lot more responsive. i have heard the grey ones have problems also but i haven't tried one yet.

I had the recall done last spring. I should've thrown the grey cps in the glovebox and used it as a spare. My truck seems to have a miss now. Not all the time just every once in awhile. It seems louder too.
