New Truck preprogramed regens?
I just had my 08 SD replaced with an identicle 08 SD. To put some miles on it I hit the road this morning. At around 160 miles it went into regen. It went into Regen again at around 380 miles. The truck that was being replaced would do a regen every 400 - 500 miles. I was not hot roding but was traveling at freeway speeds all day, 60 -65 average. Does anyone know if there is programming that would cause it to regen more often when new? I do not remember the other truck going into regen so quickly. By the way, I averaged 16mpg both on the dash and hand calculated. Not bad for a brand new engine with only 400 miles on it.
