cab lights
I just put a set of Ford original style cab marker lights on my 84 F 150 XLT. I wired em into the same circuit that the front marker lights are in (brown wire) off of the headlight switch. I grounded them to the mounting screws on the sheetmetal. I was told by a few people that this is gonna burn my headlight switch up and that I should wire em seperate to a toggle switch. I'm wonderin if this is right, that I should rewire em or if its ok to run as is.

There should have been a special connector to plug those into.

Brown wire > single connector.
In around the wiper & headlight switch.
Is your instrument cluster out?

No, i dont have no problems, just wanna be sure that the extra lights wont put too much of a load on the circuit.
