I need to change my serpentine belts in my 1994 F-350 w/460 gas engine and I don't know the size of my alternator. How or where can I find this out since there are different belts required for the different sizes? Thanks for the help.
I would get the part number off the alternator and call the Ford dealership. This new of a vehicle they should be able to help you. If it is not original than any autoparts store should be able to run the numbers. Last choice if nothing else works is to go to the manufacturers website and try to search on the part number.

Thanks for the info. I have tried to find any marking on the alternator, but no luck. I don't even see a manufacturer. I will have to try something else.
