No Midrange Guts
My truck feels like it is running great at the moment. Pulls strong from the bottom to the top, when I start from the bottom. However, tonight on an open road I got into a race with a 2005-6 GMC Duramax. We were talking while driving slow... 30-40mph. I complimented his truck and told him I knew what a beast those could be made into. We did a couple of runs from 40mph and each time I was embarrassed. The response on that truck is immediate. He pushed the throttle, he went. I pushed the throttle, I built boost, then began to pull. He would get the jump of 3 trucks on me right off the bat then I would hold him. Now if we started from a stop, I know our trucks would fare better. However, something seems off with the midrange and the SCT hybrid tune. Is there anyway to get it back!? Or just get it!? Maybe its time for a turbo, and injectors?!?!
