Will not affect the market for about 3 weeks as shipments have already been sent at current pricing. What I dont get is that the diesel is higher as it is a byproduct of feul refining? Pretty lame.
I would have posted this earlier but this angered me far more than usual for some reason....
The Unocal on Beach held steady at $3.89 and the Shell on Beach is $3.99. But gasoline has only risen a few pennies. WTF?!?!?! Twenty friggin' cents in one week and gasoline goes up 3 or 4 cents. AAAAAHHHHH!!!!! (emotional gamut)
I just want to stop and slap the station owner, even though it's not really his fault. I'd feel better though, at least until the police showed up.
Yeah, I hear ya. It's enough to make Mother Teresa swear.
Local station, for gas, was $3.65 on Sat. Went down to $3.59 on Mon. Went back up to $3.65 on Tues after the oil price surge, then went back down to $3.59 Wed. And you know there was no change in their supply price during that period.
Farkin bastages.
But hey, based on your reports, I filled up at $3.79 on Sunday.
I think the trend on oil is going to continue downward - just my opinion of course. But like all commodities there will be bumps in the graph. The current financial "crisis" has things bouncing up and down without a clear direction. Once a deal is brokered in the smoke filled rooms below the Capital, we'll know more.
Meanwhile, oil companies will take advantage of every bump to screw us.
