Are you referring to the electric setup? If so it is great as long as you are not loading the engine much. Pulling the trailer it wouldn't keep up so I had to switch back to a clutch

That's an easy install if it works.
I bought and installed one a long time ago to replace a broken steel fan on a gas vehicle.
Can't even remember what it was.

Google 'flex fan' and save yourself some money.

My concern is the amount of noise from the fan until the blades flatten out at higher rpms.

My worry would be when towing , dropping a gear to get the rpms up ,the egts down , are those blades going to pull any air to cool her down .

I was kinda thinking the same thing. The cooling system is pretty efficient, but the fan cools more than just the radiator.

P.S. Morning Dave!

The blades are supposto flatten and reduce air moving on higher RPMS. So when pulling a long hill under 40mph on back roads, the fan wont be pulling enough air when I really need it. So I talked myself out of it. If I didn't tow on smaller slow hilly roads I would be more likley to get one.
