trip odometer

ok. so we traded in the wife's G6 for an 08 explorer. both trip odometers automatically reset each day instead of racking up miles until we reset it. what is going on? i haven;t found anything in the owners manual about it.

I would take it back to the dealer and have them correct it. The computer may be stuck in a loop or a reset that they did may not be working correctly. With one of the new ones acting like that, the dealer would be the best help. Odd problems like that aren't covered in the manual.
