You might want to re think your order

1. Gauges
2. 4" exhaust
3. Intake if you don't already have it
4. DP/VB
5. All else.

You could get away with a muffler delete, but it might still be high on the egts if there is some towing in your future. I would defiantly do the DP before the horns, I think they will get old and the DP power never will. Just my 2cents

Pretty easy, they go from the turbo back with a straight through muffler or none at all.

You can get a 4 or 5 inch for about $300+-, they are manderal bent and made to fit our trucks

F5 installed!

Got the F5 installed this morning and it went very well. The toughest part for me was getting that dang A-pillar gauge mount back in place. The combination of Jody's install instructions and the install video posted by Ron's power stroke really made things very easy. One cautionary note I have is be careful plugging in the connecting cable at both the PCM and the flip switch as it can plug in either way. It's keyed for one way plugging but it WILL plug in the opposite way because the plastic socket is flexible.
I went with the gauge mount kit that Jody sent and positioned it on my middle mounted gauge. Looks great and is perfectly positioned to access easily.
Overall I'm very pleased with the new unit and it's program flexibility.
Thanks again to all for your great help and input!

Let me know if you would like to see a photo of the mount.

F5 gauge mount photo

I really like the extra features provided with the switch. "no start" is handy and it seems the "stock" setting is good for around town.Jody says the 80 econo is best for highway cruisn'.

Here's a photo of my F5 switch mounted on the middle gauge,it seemed like a more handy spot for it:

Nope. The kit comes with two longer screws used for mounting it up against the plate. They replace the original screws keeping the switch together.
