Got two new BFGoodrich 265s trail huggers on the front to match the 4 rear ones and got the front end aligned properly all for $440. Thats not too bad, is it? The shop specifically does alignments for these trucks and said the cams were in fine shape.
It rides much better and the steering wheel is much tighter and responsive. I think these BFGs will not be quite as smooth on the highway as a strict street tire would be. But I drive it often off road doing farm work and now they match the back tires exactly so I can rotate when needed. Although I drove home 10 miles on the interstate and was definitely satisfied. Also, I had to drive the last 3 miles to the shop around 15 mph because the old tire on the front driver's side was about to blow, it developed a huge lump just in the last two days and was growing rapidly.
Which shop did you use? Im in Middle TN and may need their services someday. Word of mouth advertising is the best, you liked them and now i may try them. I dunno if I trust these rinkiy-dink local shops to try an alingment on my truck. I have a good alignment shop I use for other vehicles but probably not this one.

It's on 8th ave. in Nashville just south of downtown. The name is Nashville Warehouse Tire and the owner is Bobby Deal. He has been the owner/operator for 35 years and specifically told me he bought a large rack to be able to align these large pick-ups. He takes almost all the calls and is really hands on as the boss. I was there a little over two hours and at least 15-20 different people came in with problems and Bobby (the owner) knew almost all their names. Some needed tires, some had mechanical problems and older lady had a minor problem that he fixed and told her no charge. I could tell she didn't have much money and he just took care of her problem without charging her. They do all kind of auto repairs and obviously tires.
