That Sucker

For those of you interested in doing the HPOP oil change, I have posted pictures in my gallery 2001 Ford F250 4x4 - That Sucker of the oil evacuator (aka That Sucker), that I used to remove the HPOP oil. That Sucker uses the truck's vacuum pump to provide the vaccum to operate the jar and pull out the oil. Just turn the key to the "on" position after the hose connections are made. I plan on using That Sucker for removing other fluids, as well. Such as, it could be used for oil and fuel removal from the cylinders at an Injector change or removing P/S fluid.

Thanks Chase.

Thanks Rick,
We will build the "revised version" for yours. It will have simpler connections for the tubing as described in the album. Also, thanks for your "tech support" on this proect.

Eagerly awaiting the "revised version" photos- I'm going to build two and keep one in the truck for those unexpected situations.

Great concept... I will certainly put one together for my own use, like when I have to remove some brake fluid before changing brake pads. I have to spread it around though, before I can give you the points you deserve for posting this.

So the fitting on the truck is that 1/4" and thats why you had to use the 1/4" to 3/16" adapter?

The connector on the truck is 3/16" and the vinyl tubing, I used, is 1/4 ID.https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...194595&width=0 The plastic connector is in the vacuum hose end on the truck.
