Tow Mirrors
I just bought some F550 mirrors off of eBay, but the mounting studs seem longer than the normal Super Duty mirrors. Are the same, or did I just make a big mistake? These are the mirrors: eBay Motors: FORD F250 F350 F450 F550 Telescopoing Mirrors (item 190238793536 end time Jul-28-08 12:49:40 PDT)
Edit: It looks like these mirrors are from an E-Series van, not a truck. I will have to get out of this sale.

Mirror Studs
The doors on 450's and 550's are exactly the same as the 250's and 350's. Pictures can be deceiving. Tell the auction poster that after looking at the pics, you think the studs are too long. Ask him if he will return your $$$ if the mirrors don't fit.
