Keyless Entry
Anyone have experience in keyless entry I bought a 97 F350 PSD Lariat today and was reading the description and it has remote keyless entry listed. Can I buy a remote, aftermarket or is that a ford item?

If you dont have it, chances are you cant install it. at least no one seems to have done it.
look under your dash just above the brake pedal, and if there's a big pyramid shaped box, you have RKE and you just need the keychain part.

If you the rke there should be a terminal or maybe it was a two pin connector(forget wich its been awhile)take something metal and jump\short them out. THat will put it in program mode, then just press the button on the fob.
