newbie, rookie,first timer - SC
hi, all
my names matt, and to be honest this is my first ford i have ever owned. its a 99 f250 sd super cab 2wd v10. i had a chessy customized chevy that was a work truck used and abused. other then lowered a little and rims, nothing special. i tried to get rid of it for a long time. no takers. a guy wrote me and said he had this truck, not being into fords i blew it off, well a friend said what the heck go look at it you can trade it. so went looked at it and long story short one drive was all it took. i freakin love this truck, its not loaded. power windows and mirrors, running boards, bedliner, 4 doors, FINALLY A/C, lol. i was worried bout the v10 because i had a v10 dodge, there is a hugeeeeeeee difference the ford is smooth and im getting what i consider decent milage, 12-14, im a hot rodder so anthing with two numbers is great. i have in the past talked trash bout fords. to all of those. i humble appologise. i am hoooooked. so on to making my black beast a little different. thanks all for reading. hope to talk with you all alot more, and learn something.

ty glruff, i clicked why i wanted to join the SC chapter so i guess im waiting. ill be honest ive owned alooooooot of vehicles. i go through them quickly. for a "big" truck, i love the ride, the comfort, and the versatility. i have over 221,000 miles on this truck. the motor is clean as can be and compression is great. still waiting to wake up not have it. the guy was foolish enough to trade me and i had a seasoned ford mechanic go through the truck, nothing wrong except the egr flow sensor?? and one o2 which could be from the egr flow sensor. so im happy as a little girl, lol
