whiteface gauge clusters
I have an 02 white f150 fx4. i want to get white face gauges, and was also considering changing my dash to red instead of green.
first- where can i find a good selection of gauges? does anyone make an gauge face with Fx4 on it?
second- how hard would it be to convert my dash to red? is it bulbs behind the dash, or the dash itself that is green?

The bulbs behind the dash are not colored. Most white guage clusters I've seen illuminate blue at night. Check ebay for a selection.
I too am thinking of going white on the guages. Anybody got any tips on removing and installing the guage needles?

There are two ways to do this, you either get a new gauge overlay that is colored or Autometer makes a complete white cluster, much Like the SVT clusters. The way the bulbs work are that they are yellow or clear and whatever color the cluster overlay is defines it.

how hard is it to get the needles back in the right place do you just put them back on in the same place they were when they come off, kind of a dumb Q i know, also how hard is it to get the needles off. i also have considered this.
