Trust me, i didnt mean to sell anything about the allison. Until Mark K gave a definative answer, i always thought we were sandbaggin with the max temps on the torqshift just because of the redline on the tranny temp gauge of the allison's. I usually put 100-150 miles a day on one and i HATE the way they are always learning. We just recently put a fork in the 3000 series Allison in our International 7400 flatbed @ 84k miles and it ran us about $7000 to get it fixed
