"DEFUEL"

Hi
I read a post by Bismic I think about engine operation tidbits that mentioned "defuel" for various reasons.

What exactly is this? what happens to the truck during or after this? How do you correct it if need be?

The engine limits fuel to protect it's self from your foot.

if your truck gets to a point that it defuels , it's more than likely due to overheating either coolant or oil , that is what needs to be addressed
