Got taking my old one (E3TH-19A706-AA) out...was set to put the new one (E3TZ-18591-A) in and the new one is different.
The one I removed has two connectors...one three pole connector and one single pole connector.
The replacement part has only one three pole connector. The parts guy is a board vendor so I know he will make it correct and get me the right part...not worried at all.
Just for future "knowing-what-the-heck-my-truck-is" mode...Why the diff...has it got something to do with the A/C?
Only trucks with AC have the additional single-pole connector, I think it's to make the fan
come on when you move the heat/ac/defrost/etc selector lever from the "off" position to
somewhere "on." Trucks without AC can make the fan come on at any time.
that so sucks, my first link to you was for the E3TZ19A706A part number and then I sent a email to you about the part number you ordered E3TZ18591A one is with AC one is with heater only. you must have AC. I thought numberdummy gave you the 18591 part number and it must have been right. bummer! send it back and I'll send you the correct one. Now I'm wondering if you ever got that email. hmmmm
