What goes into a Diesel Conversion for an Ex?

(Motor, computer? fuel lines? tank? etc...)

Typical costs?

Pros?

Cons?

Actually, the conversion is quite simple:

1. Sell V-10 Excursion
2. Buy 7.3L Excursion in similar condition.

Done!

Probably end up costing you $5,000, but it's a LOT easier...

Front springs, Tranny, drive shaft, extra battery and mount, larger radiator, intercooler, exhaust, etc.

I agree that it's easier to just buy a new/used EX. Now is the time to buy.
