what is the difference between an ip on a 6.9 and a 7.3? or is there any difference? Thanks Justin

I believe there is a difference, but they will interchange, but you might better wait till someone else says.

I believe that the basic pump is the same, however the 7.3 models have slightly larger diameter plunger pistons than the 6.9's as they are designed to deliver more fuel per stroke due the the larger displacement.

The IP's and injectors are all physically interchangable.

But the IP and injectors that are designed to go together will usually give better results.
