Can't see much in my garage. Let's put it this way- if you poured a gallon of water in there, it would be 10 minutes before the floor got wet! My observation about out buildings is this: Figure out the biggest building you could ever need, build it 3 times bigger, and it will be almost big enough. Most garages are too small, too low, and the doors aren't big enough. Make sure your floor is pitched towards the opening so liquids run out. Plan out your electrical runs- you can never have too many outlets. Same goes for compressed air. Put in enough lights to get a tan- you won't regret it.
mine is 30' X 50' with 16' walls and 14' high doors, the left door is 16' wide and the right is 12' wide. there will be a 10,000 lb asymmetrically lift in the right bay an office in the right rear corner, clean room in the right front corner storage over office and clean room.
in floor heat with 3 separate loops. 6 conduit runs for electrical poured under the slab. toilet shower and sink drains poured just under the surface for future use.
