Two quick questions!
I have dual tanks and the front one overflows. what is the fix for this. i gotta pull the bed to do some work to it and fix the pump on that tank while i'm there so this would be a good time to fix this. i beleive there was a recall on this.
second ..... which wire to the radio is the constant hot? i'm trying to fix somebodys screw up. thanks guys

Your tank overflows because the check valve (shuttle valve as some call it) in the return line is bad. Fuel from the running fuel pump is circulating and as it returns to the tank it will go towards both tanks at the "Y" in the return line. A valve in the non running pump is supposed to stop fuel flow. It isn't. Ford had a recall in the 90s where they installed a simple check valve in the feed lines, at the tank. There is no check valve for the return lines. If you do not have these check valves, try them first otherwise you will have to replace the pump in the overflowing tank. I just changed both pumps on my 89 to get rid of the issue that had been bugging me for years.
