When I bought the truck it had no outside key hole for the door locks. Im wondering if I can add a keyed handle with lock or should I look into the Ford keyless push button system?
I thought maybe someone might know of an inexpensive fix for this problem???
the PO had to have replaced the fronts to a rear handle set. Alot of f-250 keys can open most trucks, try on one of your friends and you will probably be able to open his. Its piece of mind!
Hey Ed, how much $ for the key-less handles? Any idea how hard it is to add a factory door keypad to the truck?
And, what to do if you ever lose your remote or it dies?

the factory hard wire style I dont think can be done, really not sure.
you need keyless entry for this to work. the little key fob push button deal. This would be used mostly if you lock your keys inside or battery went dead in your fob. The battery in the key pad will more then likey out last the truck.
Now if you had a dead truck battery then you would need to get that battery replaced first.
need year make model of your truck to make sure of part number on door handle to get you part number.
