HELP! Quick DP Tuner question
I broke my TC, resulting in a full trans rebuild. My trans guy wants to know what Jody does in his tunes to effect the trans. DP is closed till Tuesday, so no help from them right now. Does anyone have any details? Thanks.

P.S. I've been without my truck for over a week right now and have had to drive a P.O.S. Silverado rental. I know you know how much that sucks, so I really want my truck back tonight.

Dan, Jody tunes the shift points, the TC lock points, and can adjust the line pressure all with his magical machine.
At Smokin this year when he was doing my live tuning he noticed that my 1-2 shift was slipping very bad. (what do you expect from a stock tranny with 270K miles) He raised all my line pressures to help engage the clutches more firmly, with the warning that I would need to have him reflash my chip when my tranny bit the big one. He also added a downshift from OD into my tunes for when I let off the fuel and the truck slows below 47mph it drops to 3rd gear with the TC locked.

Thanks guys. I guess perhaps I'll have to take a road trip to Jody's place in the fall here to let him make some adjustments. I just picked ole Great White up, and she shifts gears like a woman with PMS (The other kind of PMS)
