I am getting a good popping noise if I turn left, I'm 99% sure its coming from a warn out bushing on the sway bar link because you can feel it back by your feet if your sitting in the passenger side (from what I'm told). I am looking all over for just some bushings to put in there and no one has them, they want almost $70 for just one link. Does anyone no another way to do it, or cheaper parts? Thanks.
I think that energy suspension makes a set of bushings that you can buy at advance auto parts for around $50. There are some threads on here describing how to change them out.
I ordered mine online form energy suspension, all I needed was a ball joint press that I rented to get the old bushings out, new ones go in fairly easy with just your hands, I think the kit was 30 bucks but I had to pay pretty much another 30 bucks shipping for up in Canada. I had a popping once and awhile when turning slowly and going over a bump, but had a constant thud when driving down the road and going over any crack in the road, the new bushing cleared that right up but for me the noise was coming from the sway bar bushings. I've had a popping while turning twice since replacing all the bushings but not near as severe. I had also replaced the end links with another set from Ford and the new ones were not worn out yet but I replaced the bushings anyways.
