I'm getting a new bed for my truck this weekend (hopefully) and while I've got it off I want to paint/undercoat the frame and fuel tank; what do you suggest, heavy duty paint or spray can undercoating? I don't have time or money to get it LineXed or anything like that but I want to make it look good and last for a good while. Thanks again. (I love this place!)
They sell the spray in bed liner material in an aerosol can. I used it on the tongue of my trailer and it has held up extremely well, much better than the factory paint. Dont know how much you need but a can is around $7-8.

you can get the exact same stuff that is in the $7.XX spray can in gallon containers that can be brushed to sprayed on (example: dupli color, herculiner, plasti coat). the stuff isn't as strong as line x or rhino but with the proper prep the stuff will last a long time.
Try POR-15 INC this comes in black and other colors go onto there site at www.por15.com i've used this product on the bottom of my lawn mower deck and it's still in great shape.
POR 15 needs to be covered if day light can get to it.
I like the spray on Rubberized undercoatings. Rubberized is the important part, it never really dries and smears instead of chipping off. Kind of like the factory undercoatings that takes hours to rub off your fingers.
