Harpooning ! !

Just harpooned, i have been puting it off due too what seemed like a pain ! Today i just tore into it, easy easy 1hr 30 min ! I dropped skid plate, disconnected filler and vent tube, dropped tank enough to disconnect fuel lines and snap on electrical connector (sender) lowered tank to the ground(empty) marked position of ring nut, nut spun right off with 1 tap of mallet. Pulled sender, Cut both fill and vent line with pvc cutter. Cleaned oring placed sender back in held pressure on sender and nut started right on @ first attempt. Lifted tank with a jack to stabilize , connected fuel lines and front and rear push on vents, electrical connector on sender. Pushed tank back into place and tightened all up, messy but very straight forward and easy ! thanks for all the info here ! ! ! .. 2006 f-350 6.0

Now you can enjoy yourself while pumping >$150 in the tank. Isn't that great?

After watching this, I don't think Mexican fuel will ever go in my 6.0L.

Yea, me too. That guy really sold me on using ULSD. Not that I had any choice anyway. But Mexico can keep their fuel.
