$19,000 off MSRP!!!

I placed this in both the 6.4 diesel and Super Duty forums.

No, not a dealer. I have been looking for a new SD KR, and I am in the process of buying one. I had to look far, but I think I found the best deal.

I found it though E-bay, but a dealer in Houston TX Tommy Vaughn Ford, is discounting all Super Duties $19,000 below MSRP. I am in the process of buying a F250 KR for $36,195, MSRP is $55,195. I guess it is a fire sale. The salesman said they had so many on the lot, not selling and so much money tied up in floor stock, they had to do something. I was worried it might have been a flood car, or similar, but the VIN checks out and it looks legit. I am having it shipped to me for $1350, but I am still saving a boat load. I can buy alot of diesel for the money I am saving.......

I realize most dealers throw BS about acting fast, but I gotta believe they are moving them now.

Just a bit of info for anyone looking..........hands off the Black KR please.

I believe it. Mine listed at 50k and I got it at 41K. Typical deal. So getting one with lot's of options at 36K is beliveable.

Maybe the bank's can help with making sure the truck is on the up and up.

Give it another year or 2 and you will be able to get one for 50% off. Who on earth would pay $50k for a pickup anyway. Another sign a depression is near.

I dont know, it might flatten out. 50%? i doubt that.
Ask to see the factory invoice- then you know how much they're making.
I would pay 50K for a loaded pickup, unless i can get a better deal.
I may be upgrading sooner than expected but i'll have to keep my OBS...

I am using my bank to finance $18k (4.8%), $20k down, so if there were problems, they should have identified it.

In a few days I should be the proud owner of a 2008 SD KR.

I have already sold my 97 Expedition too, a friend of mine's kid just bought it.

Just went to the site and it says 20k off MSRP. I find this a bit strange since most manufacturers have MAPs (Minimum Advertised Prices). Seems to me that if Ford will allow a dealer to advertise that much below MSRP then I have been missing the boat for years by getting $5000 to $7000 off MSRP and thinking I am doing well.
If this is a real advertisement, anyone who has not bought one should not wait.

The way things are going now, I'd have to say that any Ford dealer with a considerable stock of super dutys is going to have to offer discounts such as these. The 8-10k discount they've been offering all summer is nothing special and is obviously not working for them. It seems like every Ford dealer I drive by has an immense stock of full size trucks, and bored looking salesman outside. I was actually reading in Automobile magazine today that the F-Series truck took a plunge from the number one selling vehicle in the USA since 1991 down to 5 or 6, only to be surpassed by Honda and Toyota. All I can say is ouch! That's gotta hurt! Diesel's still at like $4.89 here, so Superdutys and all HD trucks are now needs and not wants.

Well, I guess you have to act fast on these deals. I called and a salesman told me all the super duty's are gone. I somehow don't believe him. If you have 121 trucks, and say it by some miracle takes an hour to fill out paper work, and do financing and take delivery and we all know it takes longer than an hour when one purchases a new vehicle. That said, it would take 121 hours to sell 121 trucks. Now that would be 5 days working 24-7. Perhaps Ford caught wind of this and stopped them.

Not really. Maybe they advertised locally? You don't think there is only one salesman, do you?

They're selling them dirt cheap because they're NOT selling them. I just picked up an 07.5 Cummins for 22K off sticker. They're practically giving large vehicles away because of fuel speculation. Traded in the ol' 6.0 that was getting 14-17 mpgs and got a Cummins that gets 16-23. At 5 bucks a gallon that's not bad. Only draw back is the 2010 emissions are hard to get off, unlike your 2007 emissions. Oops, I was just checking in on my classified ads, sorry - No Cummins guys allowed, LOL.
