Fuel Filter Removal

I have a 2003 F250 and replacing the fuel filter for the first time. I have these weird clips that I can't figure out how to take off. I tried to pinch it together but that wouldn't work and then I noticed that the part that actually clipped around the fuel filter steel tube has a pointed end that went back up the fuel line. How do I get these off?

You must have a gasser, not a diesel. I believe you can get the tool for removing those type of clips at most decent auto parts stores.

Ford F-250 V-10 Losing It's Power

Here is the drawing of the clips. I can't figure out how to remove them.

any auto parts store sells them..they are round plastic things..various sizes..they fit over the line then press up into the retaining spring then you pull it apart..they run like $10 for the set.
