Hi, I installed my new Edge Evo about a week ago, wow what a nice product, perfect fit and finish(looks factory)! I've been running on level 2, and used the custom option to increase my tranny shift points from around 1750 to around 2000. My question is, is this going to be hard on the tranny? I really like how it feels, and I think it will be nice when pulling my camper.
Are there any other custom options that you guys are playing with? Lets here some set-ups and how they work for you
I've had mine in for about a month or 2. i had it on level 3, shift firmness turned up a bit, the wot fuel at like 1.6 and 1.7, timing at like +1. with those settings, i saw the best fuel economy... i now have it on level 2 (just trying it) not as good as mpg. I am going back to level 3 once this tank runs out and i can go back to 93 octane...
I've got mine on level 2.
shift firmness at +5 for all three shift points
1.5 for WOT fuel
WOT shift 1-2 5100rpm, 2-3 5100rpm, 3-4 4800rpm, rev limiter at 5400
Hey everyone I just installed my Edge last night and am going to be doing some of the things you guys have done. By level two do you mean the tow one? It seems to be pretty neat so far. And what mpg were you seeing on level 3 with those adjustments?
I wouldn't mess with the custom side unless you know what your doing. Ran it on 2 for a while got around 16.5-17, drive 14 miles round trip everyday running around 60. Testing out 3 , to see if thats better. As long as the gas prices stay where there at I'll keep running the good stuff. The power and throttle response seem better in 3, I believe in 3 the edge gives you more aggressive fuel mapps. 2 is just tranny stuff...i think. Been having trouble codes bank 1 and 2 running lean but I think thats from the 10% ethanol. Got the update from edge bit that didn't seem to matter.
