I have a 7.3 liter with a build tag for jan 30 1998. My father bought it for his project but he past away before we could get to it. I don't have a use for it so I am trying to sell it. It has approx 40,000 miles on it, is totally complete with wiring harness. I don't know what truck it came out of. what would be a fair market price for an engine like this.

sorry to hear about your dad..that is the same build date as mine..that came out of an early 99...how long has it been sitting on the floor??? is there oil on the stick??? how is the oil pan??? any pix???? welcome to FTE...

 

yea I posted picks in the classifieds. It's on a palette it has been sitting about 18 months and has been inside a shop the whole time. I know that it will need maintenance. not really sure what my dad paid for it, just want a fair price.

Well Eric welcome to the FTE family. This forum has the greatest group of people in the word. This site and forum is set up to be all about the trucks. This forum is a little different.
