F-600 Restore

I am starting a restore project on 2 F-600 Trucks. One is a 1964 and the second is a 1965. My hope is to disassemble both trucks and make 1 good one out of the two of them.

I looking for resources to find information on these trucks. Does any body have any sugestions.

First and Foremost, Welcome to the family of Ford Truck Enthusiast, Welcome to FTE!!

If you have not seen grm61's 63 then you are in for a treat. Posting a link to his thread just in case. I am not familiar with F600 parts, or resources but he may be able to help.

Further, suggest run search under 'keyword' enter F600 in the FTE search engine. See where there have been few inquiries regarding the F600 in the '48-60' forum, whether helpful or not-

Insert the key and turn to the accessory position. There's a small hole on the face of the key assembly, insert a paper clip or something simular and continue to rotate key counterclockwise and the lock mechanism should come out. You want key assembly in same position when installing.

If you don't have the key then you will likely need to take a drill and go thru the key opening and progressively work up to same dia. as lock assembly. It's unlikely you will be able to salvage the switch, I have tried it on couple of occasion and not successful, suggestion order switch and key assembly ASAP.
