I have had trouble with my drivers window for close to 3 yrs now. The truck has less than 3k miles in the last year so it was not a priority. I finally pulled the motor out and verified that it was getting power to all points along the way. I tore the whole case down and found that there was a buildup inside the brushes and apparently it was only running when it could get thru the crap. Cleaned it all up and it runs like a top. I can see some wear on the bottem end in the lower case but it works for now.
I had another window that was slow in motion but still worked. Did the same maintenance and WOW what a difference.
Not hard to work on them just a pain to get to them. And tape the window to the door so that it doesn't fall down and break.
