Just got to see the first two installments of the new series on HBO, Generation Kill.
I thought is was pretty good. Funny. Made me wonder if that is how it's really like for some soldiers.
Kinda reminded me of a modern Band of Brothers, which I really liked.
What do you guys think?
I was thinking about recording that, but I expected it was just going to trash the whole war effort and the military in general. I expected another Stop Loss type show. Did I jump to a bad conclusion? If it's an interesting portrayal and leaves the politics out of it I give it a go.
I've tried watching it a couple of times, but never could get interested in it. Maybe I should have spent more than a few minutes to see how it developed.

Ya, it took me to at least half way to get into it. Once you got to know the characters, it makes it much more interesting.
