And I was just going to start watching it... An American co-worker kept mentioning it and thought that I would like it. She figures it got cancelled so citizens don't get any funny ideas.
Yea but did you see the shot where AmEx card holdes could get a view of next week's episode? Someone else told me it was cancelled for good and if it is they wrapped things up pretty good. They even left an 'out' for a potential return.
What I don't get, is are the ratings that bad to warrant a cancellation? I guess the advertising money isn't there but it was still a show I enjoyed.
I read that the ratings on this go round were worse than they were the first time. Apparently they put it against American Idol
I don't watch it ( or much else), but from walking through while the wife watches, I'd guess that it's better than a lot of shows. Especially American Idol, which I think, is some sort of a combination soap opera/celebrity bit.
Anyway, a relatively few devoted fans aren't enough.
I read the the Sci-Fi channel and some other channel are looking at buying it and want to continue the show into another season. There is a bunch of info here.
I really liked the show. I hope they will bring it back. I don't know what CBS's big problem with it is.
The show was doomed from the start this new season. They put it on much later than it was last season. I didn't watch any of the episodes on regular tv this time around, and waited to watch it on cable on-demand during the weekends.
CBS wanted it to fail. They had to. Air the show later.
ABC and "Lost" are doing the same thing. Later each season. I'm losing interest in that show. . . rapidly.
