nitro, that ball may be made of something other than steel. It felt lighter than normal when I had it out. I'll check it with a magnet next time I install a HPOP. It couldn't have gone too far...at least you know it's in the valley of darkness/doom/death.....or what ever you want to call it

It ain't there any more...I vacuumed out the valley after looking extensively for it.
New pump is here...will install sunday...

That ball closes that hole back into the feed part of the circuit.
I can easily understand why it is not building pressure with that hole open.
