I posted this is the diesel section too. I really need to get this figured out. Please help.
I'm trying to get a multifunction switch (the switch that controls dimmer, wiper, signals, etc.) for my 97 F-350. In order to get the correct part I need to know if I need the one with or without electronic flasher. I have no idea what this means. If someone else does please explain it to me and tell me how to determine which one I need. Thanks.

Well I got it figured out. Just in case anybody else ever runs across this problem, you need the switch with electronic flasher if you have the hazard light button on top of the steering column.
