Headlight Plug Burning

I have a 95 F-150, with the Street Glow xenon-white headlights (80Watt-low----100Watt-High) its the blue bulbs, ive been having these bulbs burning the middle female part on the plug. When it does this I have the blub go dim and then have to replace the plug. It's not burning any wires just the plugs. I put my regular headlights in and have had no problem is there anything I can do to run my blue bulbs again.

Thanks Mike

The bulb must be exceeding the current capacity of the plug. Try to get the tightest possible metal to metal contact. You might try a small amount of the conducting grease used on electrical conductors. Any resistence of the joint starts to build up heat which oxidizes the contact of the plug. Finally the plug melts.

Another option (that I DON'T recommend) is to remove the terminals from the plastic connector so the heat can dissipate more easily. But if one falls off, you burn it & blow a fuse or a fusible link.
