Excursion fuel tank
Hello guys,
I was wondering if one of y'all could do me a favor. I have a OBS powerstroke truck, and it only has a total of 38 gallons of fuel when topped off. Do any of you have measurements for an excursion fuel tank? i want to put one in my truck, if i can.

Just went out and measured for you. The measurments are rough due to the shielding around the tank. L-36" , W-32", H-20"
Total length of the shielding is 39" which includes the mounting flanges

whoa ok, after a small calculation, are you sure you measured/typed right?
36*32*20= 23040 in3
1 gallon = 231 in3
that tank would be 99.74 gallons...

The tank angles up toward the back, and I'm sure there are indentations in the top, like I said in the earlier post these were rough measurements. Cannot see the whole tank due to the shield around it. I'm not really sure that the tank goes all the way to the body. The length and width are close, however I measured the depth at the largest part of the tank.

Ok that leaves plenty of space for 50 gallons of air/shielding/sender... makes sense.
I suppose the width is all i really needed to know, as long as it fits between my frame rails.
