I was hoping someone would know i just tried to put it on ...you know pms strickes again it worked out on the pedistal with a few grinder modifications however the spider didn't work out just thinkin that one of you guys could point me in the right direction thx
You need to upgrade the up pipes & pedestal on the early 99 models, I would also get a new set of O rings for the pedestal while you have it out. If you plan to gut the EBPV you can get the adapter from Beans Diesel Performance for $95.
[quote=That_Guy;6371571]I think you need the updated spider too...not 100% sure but im about 85% sure
Does anybody know where i might find one of these?????????????
Thx again id rep but i gotta spread it a round some more, I had the turbo off today trying to trace that oil leak, its definatly not the turbo ped or turbo itself it deeper that that , IDK what else it could be but we'll get her figured out here yet, I just wanna get all the pieces together for when i get pulled down next time.... I'm settin the stage for my bigger sticks I have most of the parts just gotta get the turbo stuff and the leak figured out
Jason has personal experience on the early '99 models. I'de get with him on the details. It can be a little pricey to change the early 99's over or you can go with a drop in turbo like the one that beans diesel performance has.
But if you already have the Van Turbo it sounds like you path is chosen. You'll be happy with the setup once she's complete. I have had the van turbo on now for over 50K miles.
