It's Not Too Late

There is still time to make plans and register for the ALL TRUCK NATIONALS
<HR style="COLOR: #d1d1e1" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message --><TABLE width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top>There is still time to make plans and register for the ALL TRUCK NATIONALS that will be held in CARLISLE, PA on AUGUST 8 --10, 2008.

The MID-ATLANTIC REGION of FTE (NY, DE, MD, PA and NJ) will be hosting the FIRST REGIONAL MEET at this event.

This looks like it will be a fun event and even better because we will be able to meet others that we only type at here on the boards.

I have included some important information for those that plan on attending. I have also sent a PM to those that have previously stated that they would be attending, but have not registered as of yet.

You can find all of the information at this link,,, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/67...ic-region.html or in a similar thread in one of the regional chapters.

We have a tent reserved with enough parking places to accommodate all who attend. No hunting for a parking place, you drive in the show field and look for the MidAtlantic banner.

When registering use MIDATLANTIC FORD TRUCK CLUB - FTE as the CLUB. Registration can be completed online at the Carlisle site link,,, http://store.carlisleevents.com/merc...gory_Code=CAN8

Registration is good for two people for all weekend.

We have a few from West Virginia coming, one from New Hampshire, and one from Australia by way of Southern California.

There is a club award for the BEST CLUB THEME:

The "Coolest Club Hangout" award will be presented on Saturday morning to the club with the most creative club tent display. The "Coolest Club Hangout" award will be a banner for your club to proudly display at the current Carlisle show and take with you to display at all the other shows your club attends in the future! Bring something to help decorate the "Club Hangout".

New this year for Carlisle ATN\'s will be:

Truck Tug-O-War
Ford vs. Chevy, Dodge vs. Import…

Ford vs. Chevy, Dodge vs. Import…we’ll battle it out and see who has the most powerful truck in the tug-o-war. We’ll back two trucks together, tie their frames together with a long steel bar and see who pulls who! This is a new addition to the Carlisle line-up so you don’t want to miss it.

One other note from Toni, the Carlisle folks are considering having prizes of pre-paid fuel cards for randomly selected participants.

Also with the help of Adrian, hopefully the site owners will be supplying some goodies to the first 50 members registered by 07/21/2008.

We are also working on a trophy for the MidAtlantic chapter which has the MOST members from their state registered!

Maryland and Delaware is working on having a welcome G2G on Friday night, August 8th.

Those are just a few of the fun events planned for the weekend. Hope you can join us for the weekend, or even one day. It is a great opportunity to meet some of your online friends.

If you need additional information and can not find it in the threads, email George at glruffde@yahoo.com and the information will be provided.

Hope the see you at the meet!

Wouldn't it be nice to put a face to those that you have been typing with online for who knows how long.
From a financial stand point you can't beat it.
How much do you pay per day to park your vehicle somewhere 10 15 bucks per day?
Then there is the entrance fee, another 10 15 bucks per day, food drinks.
Have you spent 40 bucks yet?
If you register and its not too late, you get parking in the event, your truck is secure
where you can see it, you can have your beverages, food and a comfy place to relax.
You are also supporting FTE.
So come on guys it doesn't get any better than this.
Lets get that group trophy
