well, after looking and dreaming since i was about 12 i finally have owned a couple 4x4 79's, well this one is a 78 with a 351m and an np435 in it, pretty clean truck i bought off a guy in denver, the other i've owned was a total pos, but it was a supercab with, kinda miss that ole thing but it just needed too much work. i'd post a pic but dont know how
well now that makes waaaaaaaaay more sense. Cuz I was gonna say them leaves didn't look too much more than 3". So then in reality you have 3-4" (can't remember if the blocks were 3 or 4 inches) of lift on your truck cuz the rest is stock that everyone else has on their truck.
if i am correct the hiboy's came with 4in blocks and i added 3in body..and i am having a hard time trying to find front boumper brackets.....Any advice?
i used 3" of square stock on the front for a spacer and had to use carrage bolts not the bumper ones. on the rear i just drilled new holes on the frame and you cant tell on either end if there is a body lift or not.... you can look at the pics in my gallery under "newer" to see what it looks like.
