I know this is the 7.3 forum but I found a 00 ex with 80ooo miles on it every opt avail inc leather fo 8k cert a emission tested it has a V10 in it ...keep in mind that i have 6 kids so i need something big

Yes we do have the Excursion section. You could ask there. You might also shoot a PM to Pete ( F250_ ) he has a V-10 Excursion he's selling now. I'm not trying to get you to buy his, but I believe he has 7 kids, so he could probably answer the questions you have.

I just bought a 2002 ex limited 4 x 4 7.3L with 100k.. previous salvage 10k delivered in SE iowa. great SUV if you like the super duty pickups....Mine is getting 17mpg on average with stock exhaust and some sort of diablo chip.... hoping to go to a dp tuner before winter, maybe with big exhaust and some gauges

I would definitely go with the 7.3 over the V 10. I know pepole sware by the V 10 but I swear by the 7.3 even more and you can mod a 7.3 easier than a V 10. Also The X wil do great with lots of kids because of all the room!
