Went out today to move the truck and had the AC on and had top put it in 4x4 and the AC defaulted to defrost. Think its the vacuum pump on the fenderwell? Any suggestions? If it is the pump anybody got a part number for it? Gonna see if I can get it from Ed.
Before you go out and buy a pump, check your vacuum lines at the hubs. That is where most of the problem is. If you turn the key to the on position (not start the truck) you should hear the vacuum pump run for a few seconds. If not, check fuses. There is another thread on this that you should be able to find by looking a few pages down.
I would check the rubber hoses going to hubs, this is most likely the problem. I had to replace both sides, they both look good until I garb hold of them and almost fell apart in my hand. Hope this helps.

Thats good to know Ashley. And thanks for Sponsoring FTE. I will check ya'll out if mine takes a dump.
The pump is still working fine. I did some checking and it looks like something has happened to the new seals I installed in the hub on the passenger side. I'm loosing vacuum big time on that side. I even unhooked my cold AC mod and hooked it back up factory just to check. Man I didnt realize how much of a difference that made til I unhooked it. When it goes back it will be going in the white line so I can have heat. I checked the connections at the vacuum tank and everything was ok there(kinda cruddy but still holding vacuum). Also think I solved my ABS light problem. The light went out while I was checking the vacuum lines so I'm guessing I'm gonna have to replace that wire I broke. I figure me jigglin' around enabled it to make better connection or something.
