I've been MIA for a while. Been busy at work etc..

Been catching some late night reading on the website lately.

Got to looking at my own exhaust manifold bolts..3 Broken!!

Took the 2002 EX to the Dealership..I know..I'm just not that mechanically inclined and I want the job done right. It is a good dealership and I have a great relationship with the service dept..

Here is the list of what I got done:

1. Replaced all manifold nuts, bolts, screws etc..plus new gaskets..855.00
2. Repaired my Emerg. brake cable as it had snapped a while ago..170.00
3. Removed and Replaced all spark plugs and all Boots..No COPS yet. 560.00
4. Oil change, fuel filter, air filter, tire rotation and ck the brakes..90.00
5. Flushed Gold coolant..Free..Dealer favor
6. Flushed Tranny and installed new Mercon V...Free Dealer favor
7. Drained Transfer case and installed my own Mercon myself...cost of 2 qts
Mercon I already had..
8. Removed Mercon from Power Steering pump about 1 qt and just put a
new quart of Mercon back in..
9. Nice detail of interior and wash and wax and polish..

My Ex just turned 37,000 miles. I only take her out on long drives..I figured the plugs had been in their long enough. I requested the plugs back and they were all tight the tech said and they were all in good cond.

My Ex drives like a new EX!!.. I'm was worried about my plugs for a while and just decided to get it all done in one big swoop. I gues $1675.00 for 6 worry free years of driving thus far is pretty good.

My wife and friends remind me that the "thing" only has 37,000 miles and it should drive like new!!

I alos got my 4 turning 10 burning shirt in the mail today, and I'm already wearing it..

What is the topic title? If it's the one about that get together, it's 51 pages long, can you be a little more specific? I tried searching "burning", "turning" and combinations of with no hits on what your talking about. Searching "burning" and "shirt" came up with zero results.

 

Thanks Exman, I've been on the V10 forum for a little over three years and I didn't remember any shirt offer, I though I was going nuts.

Anyway I saw the link to order the shirt but for some reason I'm denied access. I sent a PM to Joe, who supplied the link, and we'll see what happens.

I like the graphics they used on the shirt.

Yep, that's the one that doesn't work. Joe says it was taken down now that the get-together is so close. He's taking any extra shirts to the get-together for sale there.
