i have an 01 screw with a 6 inch lift and 35 inch tires in the morning the truck drives great no bogging but during the day the truck kind of lags or bogs until the tach hits 2000 rpm does any one know what it could be other than that the motor runs really good
4.6 or 5.4?? I assume the weather is fairly hot where you are at, I know mine gets a little power loss when the engine runs hot along with outside temps of 85 degrees and up. I would imagine that since these engine run lean as it is, higher temps will cause power loss.....I also know when it is cool and raining outside my truck will get up and go much better.
I would also like to add the 35's are not helping the situation either, might want to consider 4:10, 4:33, or 4:56 gears to help you out there.
cleaned the mass air flow sensor and throttle body and replaced the fuel filter changed the plugs and wow!! i only did 2 so far on the passenger side doing the rest tommorrow but what a difference thanks guys for your help
