Something fishy here....
Ad says V-10; Vehicle history report says 5.4L V-8.
Maybe I'm just paranoid??

I noticed that too!!! I bet its a V8 and they put V10 BIG DIFFERENCE!!!!
I have also noticed in the past people listed their diesels as the 7.3 when they were the 6.0... Guess some people are just boneheads!!!

In the pics provided, it's a V-10. Maybe it's time to get another one.

Take a look at the first motor picture. It is definitely a V-10.

Im not saying it isn't a V-10; not saying it is. Just wondering about the discrepancy....

The VIN indicates that the vehicle is a 2003 and has a 5.4. Perhaps the genius who put the ad together has the wrong VIN.

They had a lot of flooding around Houston this spring/summer. How much does sitting in 5 or 6 feet of water for a week or so adjust the price of a truck?
Just a thought!

Ken:
Yeah, the ad says private party, but that looks more like a dealer ad to me!!! Either way, something just isn't right!

Sounds like a dealer...samhoustonmotors...he shows 4 other auctions for vehicles. Maybe he brokers for private folks also. All his auctions are listed as private seller.
Interestingly...when I looked at the VIN again...it's for a 2 WD EX. Somebody goofed.

I sent him a message and asked him about the discrepancy...
NICB doesn't list it as a total loss flood vehicle, but that doesn't mean much....

Sorry, but there's been no flooding in Houston. We're actually in drought conditions.
